All-New 2024 Audi Q5 Concept
The Audi Q5 has been a popular mid-size SUV in production since 2008. The current model, released in 2015, has an average list price of $29,100 and can range from $23,000 to $35,000 depending on the vehicle’s mileage, condition, location, and features. The next generation of the Audi Q5 is set to be released in 2023 and will be the last generation before the brand moves solely to EVs in 2030. The base MSRP of the 2023 Audi Q5 is $43,500, with the midrange Premium Plus trim costing $49,000 and fully loaded Prestige models starting at around $55,000.
The all-new 2024 Audi Q5 is expected to have a radical new look heavily based on 2021’s show-stopping Grandsphere concept. It will feature more giant screens and more technology than ever, as well as similar interior styling to the upcoming A4 and e-tron GT. The Q5 will also be the last model to be powered by an internal combustion engine before the brand delves wholly into battery-electric propulsion towards the end of the decade.
The Q5 will be powered by a range of 48-volt mild-hybrid petrol and diesel engines, plus a plug-in hybrid powertrain. It will be mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and send power to all four wheels. Alternatives to the upcoming Q5 include BMW’s X3, the Mercedes-Benz GLC, Porsche Macan, Volvo XC60, Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Jaguar F-Pace, Lincoln Corsair, Lexus RX, and, to some extent, even the new and more premium contender from Mazda the CX-60 in Europe, Japan and other markets, a wider-body version of which will come to North America as the CX-70. The all-new Audi Q5 is expected to be released in 2024 as 2025 MY.
